No, it's not the most sensible option: it's the option we have. The big hospitals are in Balneário or in Itajaí. You have to see the coast as a single region, whose center is in those two cities.
From Porto Belo there's a nice detail: to get there you first pass through Itapema. That's why it's worth leaving early and taking a look at the BR-101 traffic before you set off. Nothing serious: just a matter of getting organized.
Yes! We don't have big hospitals right here, it's true. But no! You won't be unprotected. Easy! There's quality private healthcare within reach, and your neighbor Itapema adds even more options. It's just something you need to understand. Also:
